1. The clocks go forward tonight.

2. The maximum amount you can use a contactless debit card for increases to £45 on Wednesday.

3. There's always someone who's worse off than yourself - and you'll probably be the poor sod who has to listen to them droning on and on about it!

C'est la vie!

If only I could afford a clock. grumble grumble
1 I can't reach my clock nor can I invite anyone in to do it - so I will be late (or is it early) for everything).

2 Not going out.

3 Not listening (fingers in ears, tra la la).
4; Your library books are overdue :-)
1 Boo & meh.
2 Haven't got one.
3 As Mamya ^
Can we put them forward three months.
I'd rather we put them back 3 months and avert all that is happening now. Plus i'd know all the Cheltenham winners beforehand. Win win :-)
Might leave my clocks then I shall be first in the shopping queue.
^ you'd still lose.
Just giving this a bump to remind people to put clocks forward tonight (that is those that can reach them of course).
Wahhhh!
Stand on your elbows...
I'll stand on your head.
I didn't know about the increase to £45. Why have I not been told by my bank?
So thank you for that Chris, useful.
Ooooh Matron!
Thanks Buen. Can always depend on you :-)
Ken, are you sure you want to go back to Brexit?
1, Don't do what a SiL did.
(she put clocks forward, her hubby put the clocks forward whilst she was dog-walking pre-covid days)
2. Will remind younger son.
3. I'm being good and keeping out of ear-shot :-)
I didn't know about the increase to £45. Why have I not been told by my bank?

I had an email earlier today from my bank ( HSBC ) informing me of this, ladybirder.

( if you get my meaning - as in at least I dont have corona)
I don't use contactless but did read about it in today's paper. Not heard anything from bank. Very rare for me to spend less than £30 though.
