Just heard through a friend that as from tomorrow Asda are not allowing children into their stores and only 1 adult at a time. Has anyone else heard of this? Can see where they are coming from but what if you don't have a car and are a single parent?
Nothing's coming up on a Google News search and the 'information' (if that's what it really is) isn't showing on the relevant page of Asda's website:

Daughter has literally just come back from Tesco. Apparently they are only letting one family member in to the shop, and controlling how many shoppers are in the store at one time. This is fact.
Waitrose has been limiting the number of people in the store for several days now...one out, one in. The result is a nice, calm atmosphere and everything is well-stocked...even eggs!
Downside is the wait to get in...varies from a few minutes to half-an hour.
