I think people are getting withdrawal symptoms, so here's today's food thread.

I'm at work. I've got nothing to eat (CBA) but at least I'm on double-time.

What's cooking out there?

Planning tradional Sunday lunch leg of lamb and all the trimmings. That's the plan anyway.
Ladies....STOP IT NOW!

I've got some prawns that need using...maybe with cream and bacon. Or, there's a pack of chicken thighs, but I may save them for tomorrow. I've got loads of cheese and Italian meats to eat while I make up my mind.
Bolognese and Malbec.

Well I'll raise a glass of champagne to you next week, RR, when my husband takes me away for my birthday.

So, half side of salmon or 48oz Tomahawk for you today?

Sounds good, Tony.

A delicious combination of ingredients, Pasta.

Douglas - nice pairing.
Nothing yet as been working all night so I`m going to get a couple of hours sleep. Can't tell what I`ll fancy when I wake up so I`m not going to defrost anything as I`ve made that mistake too many times.

:-) You've brightened my day, RR.
Braised steak with carrots and onions, mash, drumhead cabbage.

Looks like someone's cooking their own goose.

I am having steak too and because this is a cut from a previous piece and was very tough I will be braising it in red wine. To be accompanied by roasties, green beans, cookies and washed down with remainder of red wine.
