Probably. I've heard that there at YouTube rippers out there.
You could post it in your favourites, watch it, then delete it.

ARE
!!!
You could use their WiFi and watch YouTube 'live' on your laptop or tablet.
I use a converter if I want any music from YouTube. Just copy the link from below the title page on YouTube. Then paste it into the convertor. Then just save it and use it later .. I am sure there is there is a limit to the size of the file you can convert.
Just Google ' YouTube converter'... There are loads.
Or you could do what I do and buy DVDs, mostly from charity shops, and watch them on the plane on a laptop. It saves being concerned about WiFi.
If you want to pay for some software (to back up your discs or see you tube later) then look at WinX as an option.
hi jordy - my daughter has a tablet and we downloaded amazon prime films for the plane

You can also download TV programs and films from the BBC iPlayer web site on to a smartphone and tablet (for free!).

I just had a couple of long coach journeys and download about 20 programs on to my tablet before I left home.

I live in Cyprus and I know we have access to a few more, shall we say, alternative, methods of downloading! I use Clipgrab. It's really easy to use and plays beautifully. I think it's only for Youtube.
