Recently I bought a coloured sheet from Ebay. However it is not the colour that I wanted. I wanted green - they sent me blue.

Anyway I want to return it and the seller is asking for "Product Image" - then they will decide if and when they will take it back.

If I take a photo on my phone which is an old Doro - what do I do afterwards ie how can I get it onto Ebay. Thanks

open a dispute with ebay.....although unless its bright lime, blue or green can be a matter of opinion.

woofgang - I don't buy a lot of stuff on ebay so don't know the workings of it too well.

apparently Ebay will step in if seller didn't contact me - stupidly I was waiting for an email but when I looked into ebay again - seller had contacted via them but as I say they are saying (seller) they sent green but it is like turquoisey blue so before they say I can return - they want a photograph.
Question Author
////kindly share the product images// - the post from Ebay
...trouble is, the colour reproduction on a phone won't be that "real" and (as woof has said) bluey/greeny hues are open to personal interpretation.

Ach I know that - blue can be similar to green etc. Thank God it wasn't expensive but I wanted to see how far I could go with getting a return. that'll teach me a lesson re colours.
Send photo of sheet including green item in shade you want.

Tambo - LOL - I can take a photo on my phone but don't know how to get it onto my computer.
Does your phone have place to store photos?
If it's a business seller (as it's likely to be with things like sheets) you've got an automatic right to return the product for a full refund (under the terms of Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013) even if it's exactly as described. The seller has no right to argue the matter.

ok Chris - I am little confused with their response

///Dear buyer, Sorry for inconvenience, We have sent you a green color flat sheet, kindly share the product images. If you have received a blue color we will accept your return request. Thanks///

I have looked again and think this item has come from India - altho it arrived within 4-5 days maybe earlier - if so and I have to pay postage it wouldnt be worth it.

Found the address and it is Jaipur -
Ah!

The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 only apply to purchases made within the EU.

The return postage to India might not be cheap!
Jaipur (India) wont want a bad status. Best send pic of green shade you want (leaf/pencil/peas) & they will dye a match for you. If they want goods returned they should supply pre-paid postage.
