Yes, some people just have a natural talent for it,in the same way some have an ability to solve maths problems that most of us could not even read correctly.

We've all got our own talents; I spent a whole work-lifetime programming a wide range of computers in a variety of languages but I can't draw for toffee and I really struggle with languages.

programming and coding are very different. The aptitude for programming favours those with the natural ability(aptitude) to develop algorithms to solve problems. Anyone can write code, that requires very little skill beyond learning the syntax of the language but without programming ability huge inefficiencies and deficiencies can arise not to mention horrid unmaintainable code.
