I got an Apple TV recently and I went to buy a tv series today and it is asking for my credit card security 3 digit code. Apple already have my credit card details as I purchase songs on my ipad from them, so I cannot understand why they are asking for the security code on the Apple TV. Does anyone know if this is normal. Thanks.

I think the clue is in the words 'security code'. Only you should know this, so it wants you to confirm it's you.

Thanks, just unusual it is asking me this as it never does on my ipad and I was wondering if anyone else had experienced this.

It is legit.
I set an AppleTV up for someone recently, and it needed the code.
