having slow access problems in AnswerBank. Changing from one page to another is taking ages - the little circle in Firefox is going round and round and round, and bl00dy round.

Yes, I've been having problems on IE9 for at least a couple of weeks. I have recovered webpage now about 200 times. It's constant.Ed's seen it on other threads but I have never seen a reason or improvement.

Thanks all. My recent problem is that when I click on latest posts, the screen goes totally white except for the red Welcome box on the left of the AnswerBank page and the Firefox loading circle goes round and round. Eventually it does load but annoyingly slow.

Ive been invited to upgrade to FF13 but so far have declined - perhaps I should.

IE9 I'm still undecided about it, I keep losing the page 'stopped working' and sometimes it takes ages to change the page, I have to refresh to get going again.. I have google as my browser.

Not very good with technical things sir,prize, but I have had to have great patience tonight it has been so slow. I think my search engine is google not firefox so it is not just you. As you say the little circle just keeps going around.

it's the operating system you mean, starby, Google's for searching, not the same as FF. We're on IE9 and have loads of prblems with AB hanging and reloading.

oh, boxtops, I have no idea then what I am on. I am absolutely useless with technical details. I know how to use it but if anything goes wrong I scream for my son or my son-in-law, whoever happens to be available. Fact remains, though it has been very troublesome tonight.

At least we all know we are not isolated. Strangely a number of browsers are 'playing up'. But I notice that AnswerBank site is particularly troublesome.
