Hi, I keep getting a message from zone alarm telling me to update my security. When I do it ,it is the same no. all the time-70-470-000, does this mean I am installing the same update all the time, which is what it sounds like to me, or will they differ in any way? Am I wasting my time?TIA, Shirl

snigger!

there are two types of updates (if you are running internet security with virus and spyware)
you update the definitions often daily - and they install automatically
(this makes sure your scanner knows all the latest threats)

the other is a program version update (the only option if you are running just the firewall - )
if i remember correctly prog updates aren't automatic ... you download and then install the update manually

70-470-00 is the latest ver of security suite ... so I'm guessing it's definition updates you are talking about.

don't be tempted to skip them
