In snooker matches , the players often go off for a comfort break .

How come the referee doesn't ?
I know they have to re rack the balls ,but they must have strong bladders

The players drink more than the refs and it might be they are going out only for a break to re-focus or have a wee swear.
Perhaps the ref does in between frames, without you realising.
Leaning on the table to play shots could be squashing their bladder.

Maybe .
But i've never seen a ref going off between frames
Of one can't go for a couple of hours without peeing one should consult a doctor.

For the players it's the equivalent of a fag break.
Hoppy - the ref doesn't lean on the table like the players do - just a quick lean to replace a ball whereas the players take time for a shot.
The players do seem to drink a lot (water or tea nowadays I assume - not like Bill Werbeniuk's 14 pints of lager or Alex's guiness/whisky). I think it's habit or a nervous reaction.
the refs are women......they wear Tenas - and Tena is likely sponsoring them.
nah
Snooker and Tennis are the only sports I know where the competitors get a round of applause for having had a pi ss.
A strong bladder is an important attribute for a referee, but less so for a player. For them, it's better that they can play snooker.
It's in the job description. Applicants must have a urostomy.

Just saw something i don't recall seeing before .

In the match between Allen and Jones , both players went for a pee in the middle of a frame .
Probably tactical
In the middle of a frame ?! Couldn't they make it to the gents ?
There was a cue.
Whilst you were noticing the Ref not going for a Pee hope the Snooker wasn't too distracting for you.
