OK peeps, it's a fortnight since we last played. Some would have appreciated the extra rest, others would have wanted another game last weekend as they're on a roll.
Wales have gone with the decision to drop Spike (Phillips) for Webb. No argument with that, but Biggar deserves the 10 jersey ahead of Priestland, epsecially as he and Webb played so well for Ospreys last weekend, they are a great partnership.
North moves to centre, which could turn out to be a mouthwatering prospect, Jamie and he should be punching some big holes in the middle, George has no little guile to add too.
It's a tough one to call, bar 10 minutes v Italy the French were largely ineffective and the scoreline flattered them. As we are at home and some players are playing for their international careers I'll say Wales, but it'll be tough going.
Scotland go to Italy, who have turned their new venue into something of a fortress recently. They improve year on year, whilst Scotland now look largely in disarray. This could be a Spoon decider and I fully expect the Romans to make full use of home advantage.
Then it's on to Twickers for what should be the game of the weekend. Ireland look menacing under the stewardship of Schmidt and weren't really tested last time out as a result of a dire Welsh performance.
Lancaster has new blood again and an exciting prospect in Ford. Should be a humdinger, though I feel the Twickenham roar will see those of the chariot reign supreme.

So, predictions.......

Wales 22 France 18
Italy 25 Scotland 13
England 25 Ireland 17

Over to Sqad and DTC......

Italy take a 6-3 lead, 10 minutes to half time.
This game really is there for the taking, someone needs to get it by the scruff of the neck, it's wide open.
Question Author
A harsh call by Steve Walsh against the Scots sees Italy make full use of the scrum and they break away to score.
As they now also have what they've been missing for some time, a recognised place kicker, the conversion is made and they head for the tunnel 13-3 up.
It's looking very dire for Scotland I'm afraid.
Question Author
An early second half pen for Scotland and now a try, their first of the campaign. Can they convert and gain parity?
They've certainly dragged themselves back into it, all to play for now.
Conversion missed, 13-11.
Sccccooottttttlaaaaand !!!!
I don't have a good feeling about this :-(
Sssccoootttttttlaaaand !!!!

A great opportunist breakaway try by Scotland sees them take the lead. I don't know what sort of riot act Johnson read them at half time but it's had the desired effect.
Denton coming on has been instrumental and I was surprised he didn't start, he's far and away their best and busiest player.

And Italy come storming back almost immediately! What a half of rugby we are seeing, it's a great advert for the game.
Question Author
Conversion...............made! Italy take the lead 20-18, 8 minutes left. Hold on to your seats folks!
Question Author
It's looking as though Scotland will have to fashion a drop-goal opportunity, they're not really breaking the gain line......
Question Author
Scrum to Scotland, last chance saloon. Either way, it's gonna mean heartbreak for somebody......
blooming heck!! wot a kick!!
Question Author
And they've done it!!!!!!!!!!!! What drama!
What a comeback by Scotland, heartbreak for Italy.
Sssssscccoootttttttttttlllllaaaaaaandddddd !!!!

Question Author
Give them their due, Scotland looked dead and buried at half time. That second half was one of the best ever witnessed in the 6N, fantastic endeavour from both sides, a great spectacle for the game.
Well done Scotland, little comfort for the Italians that they played their part in a great battle.
How the chuff did that happen...... we won a Rugby Match!! Woo Hoo!!!
Question Author
They didn't have a prayer at halftime Slapshot, they showed great character.
