The words he's accused of saying made me laugh. Considering the state of the world it's a joke that tax payers money is being spent on such a prosecution.

The football authorities have used the civil law test of 'the balance of probabilities' in determining whether Suarez used racially offensive language. For a criminal prosecution to be successful it requires that the charge is proved 'beyond reasonable doubt'. Given that it's one person's word against another, any criminal prosecution would almost certainly fail to pass that test.
Apparently Terry was caught bang to rights.Hes goin dahnn.
He could be fined as much as £2500. Wow.

He would not be the first footballer to commit a criminal offence. They dont seem to realise they are very privilaged to be so highly paid. One was in prison (for GBH I think it was) and walked straght back into an £80000 pw job.

Yes, it would take him almost three hours to earn that.
Suaraz was reported by another player, Terry was reported by supporter so The Crown gets involved.

Very good point McMouse. There are surely more important issues they should be working on. They could make some easy pickings if they were to listen in to the crowd banter at any ground during any game. Or they could listen in to some of the sledging at cricket matches. It doesn't make it right but keep a sense of perspective, please!
Football? Yawn!
Hope Terry and his family all go down, crime in London would be reduced overnight!
Suarez was relived to the referee, and it Was all kept within the FAs disciplinary procedure. Terry was reported to the police by a member of the public. On viewing the video evidence, there seems to be a good probability of a successful prosecution.
