Being Spiritual.

Quite often celebrities claim to be spiritual, and back up their claims with phrases such as, finding myself, discovering my place in the universe, connecting with nature etc etc and other nonsensical made up ideas.
But do you consider the spiritual without God in the equation, in spite of possibly your atheism?

Not the love of the God of the Bible that loves the smell of burning animals, (or drowning animals), that advocates sacrifices left, right and centre, Commands genocides in his name, smites his way around Palestine, gives commands to stone people to death for the crime of picking up a few sticks or to stone your own kids to death and to show no pity. The God who advocates slavery and the subjugation of women. The God who Tortures his creation in hell for not believing in unbelievable things?
The God of the bible is a dick.
I can still 'sense the love' But its not the God of the Bible's love.
The God of the Bible is a Demon in my view.

Yeah, but it wasn't the proper love was it? It wasn't Thelands Gods love was it? You have to get the right love. Not the Catholics God's love, or the Protestants God's love. Or Anyone elses Gods love. It has to be the RIGHT Gods love or else you wilL be dammed for all eternity for not getting the right Gods love.

I am not sure I understand the point you are making, but I have seen the levels of wealth in the Vatican, and it is a living obscenity that leaders of a church can live in opulence like that when their fellow Catholics die of starvation around the world.

As a Christian, you have a duty to try and spread 'the word' whenever and wherever possible, not go off in a snit because someone gets under your thin skin.
