There is not doubt Tommy is a political prisoner.
The support he is getting cant be ignored.
Now it is protests, next it will be violence.
People have reached breaking point.
Do you agree?

You want him banged up for life?
no..but folk have to learn proper behaviour and procedures !
Robinson/Yaxley/Lennon is as stupid as he is odious.
His ego persistently gets in the way of what actually needs to be done. He needs to wind his neck in and let Justice take its' course; especially when there is an on-going court case, hopefully, putting abusers away for a long time.
If he (or any of his equally bone-headed supporters/followers) cause a case to collapse, or give grounds for appeals, I take it he/they will be roundly applauded for 'Keeping it real' ?
ditto Jack x
Like the Suffragettes did? Where would this country be without protest?
^That to Murraymints at 08:27.
// You want him banged up for life?//

look I have done extensive thoughtful research on this ( like others here) and yes that would be OK
13 months is a jolly good start - end of!
Tommy r has a history of such questionable behaviour..suffragettes is absolutely not a valid comparison..
// Like the Suffragettes did? Where would this country be without protest?//

well I have researched this as well - what about that violent Emily Davison and the poor King's horse ? - just as tora is celebrating the deaths of the taggers in another thread - good job SHE went on her way - but the horse had to be put down didnt it?

and what about the time when the suffragettes machine gunned the Home Secretary ?
agreed MM - you put it more ..... moderately
Murraymints, It's a valid comparison in my opinion. They broke the law and were destructive with it - but they did it for what they believed in just as he did it for what he believes in. There's a point of principle here.
and the principle for dear Tommy is ...... ?

Tommy must be allowed to freely live stream court proceedings when he has already given assurances that he er wouldnt ....

yeah clear parallel.....
one cannot compare suffragette movement to the "take it on board lets be affronted Tommy Robinson brigade " all for his own self promotion...
Tommy is not a political prisoner. He is a thug who deserves to be exactly where he is. Just because people support him is irrelevant. People love and support serial killers, doesn't make them any less dangerous.
Murraymints, you can't compare it because you regard him as a bonehead acting for self-promotion. I disagree. I think he speaks a lot of truth and therefore I can compare it.
but..BUT..I have respect for the law ..in the primary.. all for "power to the people " but he does not in ANY way fall into that category
PeterPedant, we know he broke the law. Do try to keep up, there's a good chap.
yeah I think I must be educated on suffragettes ...

they didnt go round saying - we shouldnt be punished for 1) burning down Ld Doodahs house or 2) bombing places
free the suffragettes!

they did it knowingly - in anticipation of being arrested and imprisoned in order to get all that lovely publicity

the leddy who chained herself to Buckingham Palace - her defence wasnt that she had a right to do that and so shouldnt go to the slammer - - - or was it?

"he broke the law" thereby any argument in his defence is invalid
