Hi, William, I admit it freely. Not when the news broke nor in the long period before the funeral. But on the day of the funeral we both shed some tears for HM and her family. The whole day was an exquisite masterpiece, the likes of which we will not witness again.

No, I didn't.
oh yes, sliding down my face when the news broke and when they had the piper play at her funeral. I hadn't met her obviously but many had and she seemed a genuinely good person.
Not at all.

I did notice my mood change though when listening to the radio while driving. All slow and moody on all music stations, even Absolute Rock, to get the subject in the mood for mourning.

Radio off, back to reality, there are bills to pay.
No. I very much respected her and was a tad sad at her passing but not to the extent of weeping. Life goes on.
None what so ever.
Next question William?
Wot Ken said.
Nope. Not one, worked all through the Bank Holiday.
No.
No, I have met her on several occasions and she always came across absolutely lovely and sincere but I felt no need to cry - I was comforted by the fact that she will now be with her beloved husband again.
'chortle'
No, and I wonder if I'm wired up wrong, because I cry very easily at the death of pets, reports of animal cruelty or sad animal progs on the tv, but rarely for humans passing away, especially ones I wasn't close to.
Windy - I know what you mean - I am still in bits over Brice dying last week!
Like i said on here back on the 8th Sept,a very sad day indeed. No tears at all a 96 year old who had a fab life all in all and her remaining family will also carry on enjoying a fab life. Its sad whenever anyone passes more so when they are very young. My thoughts are for the latter in Ukraine being murdered by the day.
Nope.
Thanks for your post, Red.

That was so horrible, poor little fella, I can't bear to think about it, so heaven knows how much it's hurting you. :0(
goodbye cruel world

And take my milk for gall, you murdering ministers,
Wherever, in your sightless substances,
You wait on nature's mischief. Come, thick night,
And pall thee in the dunnest smoke of hell,

I cried PP admits
96 year old who had a fab life all in all

gawd did you see her miscreant children? - - oh well normal day on AB
Thanks Windy
Did not know the lady; never even met her. Whilst it's understood that a departure is sad for those they leave behind, for others, they can't be expected to be that emotional.
Windy, you have something in common with the late Queen. Couldn't muster a single tear when Diana died, but tears came easily when the Royal Yacht was decommissioned.
