I am having a great 75th birthday.

My wife altered a card from 5 years ago and made the 70 into a 75.

Just hoping it can again be altered to 80, and, perhaps beyond.

The years go to quick. I remember my dad saying, wait till you are 21, you will not believe how they fly by. Fish n chips for tea,lol.

I remember being a teenager. Every day vivid in my memory. Ask me what I had for tea yesterday, no idea.

That’s probably because you had good teenage years with lots of memories to fall back on, same as me, great times in the 60s

It absolute is Margo, if you think of your own Mum at 60 let alone 70, they were olde, we 70 something’s still wear jeans and we look after our weight and appearance

Yup! Jeans, shorts, cold-shoulder tops - you name it. I remember my teens in the 60's so well - had to make most of my clothes of course. Mr. J2 is now an unbelievable 87, but apart from a couple of minor ailments like triple-heart bypass and a bit of skin cancer he is fully fit, can walk me off my feet and feeds us with veg.. We're thinking about adding another dog to the menage - perhaps a rescue, elderly lab. to keep our aging terrier company (not that he knows he's supposed to be slowing-down either!). Mums were old at 70, I agree. 50 is fine - wheeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!
