Gabor, not heard of those myself. I see they sell them in Next.

Sketchers you say, I've heard they don't have the best ethical standards compared to other traditional shoe makers.
For comfort Hotter.

They don't look like they'd last me very long.
Brands do not mean anything to me, i buy anything that fits me and is comfortable.
Hotter, Skechers and waldaufer.. im happy to buy cheap clothes but not cheap shoes.

Cheap shoes are false economy.
With the right colour snd accessories cheap clothes can look good. Cheap shoes look cheap!
I also like Ecco for casual shoes.

William51, a brand means everything to me. What a brand represents and stands for is worth its weight. It's the brands that we have to rely on to lead us into a more sustainable and ethical future for employment and materials.
I always like a nice Rhythm on me plates but you need a decent almond too.
I get nearly all my footwear from Deichman. I can't seem to wear shoes anymore so it's trainers and boots for me.
Question Author
It's important to have not only nice socks but appropriate socks for the footwear.

Barry101, some true heritage brands there.

What do you think to Edward Green Shoes, John Lobb, and Tricker's?
My favourite brand for boots are Softinos...very comfortable and good quality leather.
I only know of Tricker's out of those three - they are very well made and stylish but the sizing doesn't quite suit me. My wife has a pair of their loafers which she loves
Used to love Rieker but the shop closed in my home town. Not too happy about buying shoes on-line. Tend to go for Sketchers, Hotter and Birkenstock.
