Sunday. I didn't get to the farmers market, it was raining too hard, so I gave it a miss until next week.

I had unexpected visitors, friends I haven't seen or heard from for twenty odd years! they found out where I was from a mutual friend, but didn't have my phone number. So it's just as well I stayed home! It was good to see them. I had no idea where they were either.

Got no idea what's going to occur today!

We did indeed! The three of us were in the kitchen while I cooked lunch for them...and me of course! Not the biggest kitchen, but it was fun! :o} They insisted on doing the washing up, I did the putting away.

It was a delightful surprise to see them. We're going to keep in touch now. He and I were in the same unit in army days, he was one of my crew.

No, No tripe. I did pork steaks in cider, with a jacket potato with cheese and creamed mushrooms.

They seemed to enjoy it. :o}

Good morning one and all. Feeling very guilty as we sit here having breakfast in the Maldives after an early morning snorkelling. Met a six foot shark (which we were assured was harmless). Daughter-in-law's birthday today which we mentioned on arrival. They've even put off for a day refurbishing the posh restaurant so we can celebrate in style. Looking forward to bringing home some nice weather when we return to the UK.

Was wet and 'Orrible all day here yesterday too, washing hanging up in back room...nearly dry... clean floors and Windows...they were minging ! Really want to change curtains and soft furnishings to cream from Brown...but feels like winter still, so perhaps can wait a week or two yet
