Do You Remember Dipping?

I mean when you had to choose someone!
There were a few rhymes to do it. The words didn't always make sense.
I remember this one.
Ip dip dip
My blue ship
Sailing on the water
Like a cup and saucer
Ip dip dip
You are it.
For those who never came across dipping, say you have six people and have to choose one, you say the rhyme pointing a finger at each person for each word. When you get to the end the last person is "IT"
Does anyone remember any more rhymes for dipping?

I do remember that kind of thing, Caran. I'm trying to remember the rhyme we used.
It began with everyone crouched down with one foot in front, the 'dipper' would poke everyone's shoe in turn with the rhyme 'Ipp dip dip...... [something, something] ... change your shoe'. That one changed their foot and it carried on until someone was landed on with their second shoe.

I do remember that one but it was usually the girls that came up with similar lines but not 'Dipping' they were a bit naught where I grew up.

There was another rhyme we used but I can only remember bits of it.
