Thursday. More rain yesterday with drizzle through the night.

Foxy came for his supper at 2145, tiggy, with another hedgehog arrived at 2215. It was nice to see two of them. tiggy came right up to the back door. I put extra food out as there was two of them. Lovely to watch. Not much about this morning as it's wet and chilly. Some snuffling in the undergrowth but none of the usual suspects about, well I didn't see them anyway. Roll on some warm and dry weather i say.

Thank you so much to all who have donated to the hospice appeal. Every penny is a help and not a penny gets wasted.

Have a happy day everyone.

Morning jan my lovely xxx How are you this morning? :o}
The hospice should get my cheque today or tomorrow at the latest.
It's wet and horrible here. I went out to feed the birds but scurried back in again rather quickly.
Question Author
Thank you jan. xxx I didn't go far this morning, it's quite nippy out. Not as the end of May should be at all.
I'm ok thanks boaty . When is the summer coming? Maybe that was it a couple of weeks ago. Can't believe it's nearly Midsummer and the Longest Day. I was asked last week, by my milkman, if I wanted to order any Christmas items NOW? My look gave him his answer !
I HAVE to wander into the shops at 9am, then the library, then back home again. Won't be going too far today. Really need to tackle the garden. It's only a small back garden but it's VERY neglected.
Good morning, not looked out yet but one would assume its still raining as the birds arent making too much noise. Not got foxes here but I do have 9 hedgehogs! Eagerly waiting for the hoglets to appear it shouldn't be long now!
Question Author
Does he not like summer? Rather tactless methinks.

The Solstice Walk is coming up at the hospice. I shall be there marshalling as I was last year. You would love the walk jan. It's 5 or 10k around Minchinhampton Common. Some lovely views over five valleys as you walk.
Morning lyall. Oh, we have foxes here in Sussex. They've rather taken over the area as their own. Wish, really really wish we had hedgehogs here. You are sooo lucky. Boaty also has hedgehog visitors .
Question Author
Morning lyall. Welcome to the asylum. :o}

You don't see many slugs and snails then! :o} Lovely to watch aren't they.
Yes boaty, if I lived nearer, I would DEFINITELY do that walk. You live in a stunning area. As you know, The Cotswold area is my favourite part of the country. I LOVE it.
Question Author
Come and join us jan. You'd be very welcome. :o}
I'd better go now and get out and about for the day. I'm going for a quick wander along the seafront before hitting the shops.
See you tomorrow. Bye boaty and lyall xx
I wish! I'm inundated with slugs, my hogs don't seem to like them!!
Question Author
Have a happy day jan xxxxx :o}
Boaty, If I could I would, honestly. I'd LOVE to. Maybe next year...
