Christmas has been cancelled.

I saw a sign on a bus stop this morning saying christmas has been cancelled.
I take is all christmas products will now be removed from the shops.

I love the build up to Christmas, the lights, decorations, carols etc but it is becoming a commercialised racket, which comes around far too quickly IMO. If only we could celebrate it quietly for 4 years without all this commercialism, then on the 5th year really do the works! People forget the true meaning of Christmas anyway and that is really sad.

Every year, I moan at the manager of Sainsbury's about the fact that they sell fireworks.
It really makes me mad.

Would be SO happy if Christmas was cancelled. I hate it - its so false and so much fuss for nothing.

It makes me mad, Tony, because they are primarily a food shop and I don't think they should be selling fireworks. There are plenty of other shops selling them. (Unreasonable of me, I know)

Fireworks are a complete waste of money and my dogs hate them. I think fireworks should be banned. There seem to be fireworks going off throughout November. If people stuck to one night, it wouldn't be so bad but they are constant.

I partly agree with you Tilly. I think fireworks should only be used at organised events and shouldn't be available to buy.

I can't see why people should change their habits to suit dogs. But I would like Sainsbury's to stop selling fish, because I don't like fish.
