Great, I thought, EJ is coughing up same as MasterCard, checked bloody online statement and MS also have refunded the same amount as EJ, I want to screammmmmmm, try to get through and make them understand you is worse than not going on holiday in the first place....

Considering all the grief you have had,I would NOT contact them about the double refund,whoever wants to retrieve the money.
Let them contact you and explain why they have done this,the onus is on them to do so.
As long as you realise that you may have to refund this money (and don't spend it,YET).
Of course it may be that if you keep quiet they won't realise what has happened!
Or am I being dishonest.I don't think so given all the aggro you have had.
No doubt others will tell me off,but I have learnt that "big companies" can afford to take a few losses.

Bobbi... keep the second refund to one side - there is a statute of limitations with regard to claiming the money back. If that statute expires, go and book yourself a Caribbean Cruise with the other refund money added.

This would be probably seen as an insurance fraud if I attempted to extract the money overpaid, if it were mine and they said this, I would most certainly donate it as I didn't have it in the 1st place

Hi Bobbi, very pleased for you that you got this problem sorted and was refunded too! When there's a problem as such involving credit cards, the credit card company usually credit the member while they investigate the matter. As some as said, don't use the money let it sit until they find their error.
