Sqad is like my mother. If she saw a couple holding hands in public she'd be 'tutting' about it for ages. (If she saw a couple actually kissing in public, she'd be looking for a policeman to deal with their outrageous behaviour!).

Other things that could draw my mother's ire included seeing someone combing their hair in the street. ("You don't do that sort of thing in public. You go to a toilet to do it!")
