morning all, its early and i have been awake half the night, can't seem to stay asleep.

the weather forecast like yesterday is pretty dire. I hope you have a pleasant day whatever you are planning to do. Boaty is well for those who asked after him yesterday, Dtc thanks for catching up with him.

I'm just working mostly. We're going out tomorrow for Father's Day. I've booked a table at a lovely looking olde worlde pub.

yes theland went into the river whilst riding his mobility scooter, he has done something to his foot, but won't seek help from a doctor.

I've got 3 days off next week and I've booked his nibs into Nursery for the full week. I've then got a full week at work and then it's off to St Ives. Fingers, toes and everything crossed for nice weather.

I'll take my laptop with me in case we get cottage-bound due to rain and I can do some work to pass the time.

I finally got to set up my "Tapestry" account last night and logged on and got to see loads of pictures of Miles doing activities and learning. We had Parents' Evening on Thursday and got to see the garden and meet his Key Worker. He is loving Nursery.

Morning, bright blue sky down here in God's country....not a cloud up there. However, the rain is due, clouding in around lunch time and then his shower's to be turned on around 3pm and then on and off for the rest of today. The usual raid on Trurra to do first thing this morning.

I mentioned Theland to Boaty, who found the story amusing. However, I did say about the foot and I think he'll call or e-mail him to nag him as I believe Boaty has his contact details....

Being a gourmand, wine hound, LCG, that you are - have you ever been to Constantine as you need to put that place high on your list - apart from places like Helford and Port Navas being nice to visit. Constantine has the most fabulous village shop especially for wine and spirits.

The other place closer to St Ives is Connor Downs (come off at Camborne or Hayle and take the old A30 - from Hayle, through Connor Downs and on the Camborne side there's a turn to the right to Trevaskis Farm Shop - some nice stock in there and a family caff that does pretty huge portions, especially of the cake sort - and probably a lot of fun for the wee one.
