Oh, is the 3 on the line after teh 2 a question number or part of teh equation?

if the 3 is outside teh bracket then for 2 we get 2x-21=2x-21 so it's an identity with I suppose infinite number of solutions
Either C or D. You end up with 2x -21 = 2x -21. I'll plump for D.

I messed up the question numbering, it should've been 1,2,3 not 2,2,3
