He is not nasty or mean or anything, but I think he got held back in math because hes only in one 6th grade class. He has no idea what to do,he cheats off of other people, and Iam not the best math student too but he waits for me to give him the answer and my teacher doesnt notice a thing! shes too busy yelling at all the good kids who do a tiny mistake!Iam afraid to talk to her because iam afraid she will yell at me or tell everyone. I hate to sound snooty when you read this but its all true and I need help!!!!!! : (

You need to talk to a student counsellor and get this sorted. meanwhile, consider this: does the fact that he uses your answers affect anything? If it doesn't, let him do what he wants. If your classwork is assessed lower than you feel is right because of your partner, then you need to bring this up with the person in charge of the subject, overall.

What help are you looking for? If you need help from your teacher you need to ask him/her or another teacher at school.
What is the role of a math partner?

Sounds like your teacher is a bit rubbish, but she won't be the first or last so don't let it get you down.
He can only use your answers if you let him. He will not learn maths this way and the teacher will not know what he is doing. If it is becoming a big problem for you, you need to talk to the teacher. She should be looking out for the less maths minded kids, not only taking notice of the good kids.
No need to afraid. I think your afraid is the hurdle to learn math or improve math skills. You must discuss your math problems in which you suffer which is best practice to understand the math. Also discuss these math problems with your those friends who are good in math.
Mind, don't like developing maths skills get in the way of coherent English...
