Tuesday. Tragic news from Manchester. The scum of the earth are at it again. Cowards, picking on innocent people enjoying a concert. I cannot understand what they hope to achieve from this, or any other such cowardly acts.

My heart goes out to the victims and their loved ones.

The emergency services were on the ball and reacted with the professional and skilfulness that make them the best in the world. My heart goes out to them and their families too.

The perpetrators should face the death penalty.

Yes, all well. Off to Tewkesbury today, so an early start is needed. Its raining here in Swansea but the forecast for Gloucester looks good...temperatures in the late teens, which is more than hot enough for me ! Its what we call a two-Thermos day out !

Appalling news to be woken up with - at first, I thought it was Manchester NH as the first thing on the radio was the links to the States. It now looks like the littlebastard who triggered the IED is dead - what a shame as some waterboarding could have been justified to get the info out of it.
