awww triggs, I'd love that
lol at triggs.

i would have been delighted to have got one bunch of flowers for either my birthday or mothering sunday, but it was just not to be. but i did get a card for mothering sunday. goodie.
I don't 'do' bouquets, I lucky that my lot know I don't.
I like pot plants.

I know I might regret that when I hit submit...

I thought that you were in the deepest Arctic for your birthday, Lady J.

It's not a lemon meringue though
alba - we should be nearer. i hate and loathe pot plants. just will not have them in the house. bunch of flowers - lovely as long as they are not what i call old peoples flowers.
i was DTC but it would have been nice to have come home to some cards. all i had were bills (and i wish he would keep them to himself).
LJ, my MIL loved pot plants, but they didn't like her. She killed them with kindness.
Gave her a mother-in-laws tongue one year, she kept it alive for 5 years which was quite a record in the family.
I am fussy about my pot plants though.
Maybe this ought to be in Gardening or Jokes - heard on BBC Gardener's Question Time:

Q. What's the right planting depth for 'Mother-in-law's Tongue'?
A. 6 feet.
