Alive would be best as the conversation would be a bit flat if they were dead.
Some of the band members of Dead or Alive maybe, but not Pete Burns.
I think there were only 4 members of Dead or Alive so that leaves two spare seats - Bronski Beat maybe?

Been away Octavius?
Not really gary, I have changed jobs and work keeps getting in the way.
Marilyn Monroe, Sophia Loren, Brigitte Bardot, Diana Dors, is anyone else really necessary?
Elvis Presley, Mohandas K Gandhi, Marilyn Monroe, Stephen Fry, George Orwell & Leonardo Da Vinci. I doubt the conversation would waver but we might have problems translating Leonardo :-)
The dead ones as there wouldnt need to do any cooking or washing the dishes
Mick Jagger, Stephen Fry, Ludwig van Beethoven, Jo Brand, Alice Cooper and Claire Rayner.
If you mean famous people....John Peel, Ian Dury, David Gilmour, Julie Walters, Alan Bennett and Maeve Binchy.

John Lennon, Winston Churchill, JD Salinger, Joan of Arc, Billy Connolly and Mary Queen of Scots.

I'd just order a few curries and pizzas though - can never be bothered cooking...

I've changed my mind and phoned Billy Connolly to cancel him... replacing him with Jesus Christ. He's funnier but similar in look. Great storyteller too.

Clark Gable ... 'Film Star'

George Best... 'Footballer'

Dannielle Steel 'Writer'

My Late Parents.........

and Chantelle winner of Big Brother.....Ho My God !!
