I am sure that he was well looked after
Perhaps they were going to see Minions: the rise of Gru afterwards and the lad wanted to wear a suit.
My brothers used to wear suits when we lived in Hong Kong and they were 6 and up
They could have allowed him to ditch the jacket. At least he had the sense to be supporting the brilliant Djokoman.
His father was wearing a suit. Maybe it's an example to all the haters that perhaps being a Royal isn't one big bed of roses. Look at poor Kate, she had to shake the hand and congratulate a Russian the day before.
perlease!
I daresay he’s given a choice and went with ‘wants to look smart like Dad’?
His mother was attending in an official capacity. Many in the Royal Box were wearing suits as were all the officials. It was 40 here yesterday and we were at a prestigious horse show. All riders had to wear their jackets for prize giving. The main event the Grand Prix the greater majority of the riders wore their jackets while competing. George is carefully being introduced to his future role. I am sure that his jacket would have been removed if he was in distress. We have to put a sign on our medical clinic door to ask people to wear a shirt and shoes before entering
i still remember as a child building sandcastles on the beach 68 years ago wearing a bow tie

He looked suitable disgusted.
Of course it was appropriate as he was not just another little boy and it was a very special occasion.

The "snivelling kid" syndrome with open necked shirt, shorts and licking an ice cream cornet can be seen anywhere and everywhere.

Well done to Kate and William.
lol I agree with Sqad
So do I (agree with sqad). He's not a little boy he's a trainee king and has to learn all the uncomfortable things he will inherit as well as his priviledges.
call the soche
I feel bad for anyone wearing anything other than loose clothing in the heat. But those who are required to dress a certain way are used to it, and I'm sure both he and his parents know what is expected.
Hopefully wherever else he goes, the premises will not need to display signs such as "shirts must be worn" which become an abundance as soon as the temperature goes above 65 degrees Fahrenheit.

What is the matter with people in this country that they have to discard most of their clothing as soon as it gets a little warm? Wimbledon is a social event as well as a sporting occasion and appropriate dress is required - especially in the front row of the Royal Box. The AELTCC also needs to get a grip on the drunks who seem to be infesting the crowds in increasing numbers. A number of matches have been completely spoiled by incessant and mindless shouting.
Poor young George had to listen to the effing and blinding from Kyrgios, too ...

I’m sure he’s heard plenty from great uncle Andy these past few months…..

NJ, there was one such moron in particular who was giving Djoko a lot of grief in his semi against Cameron Norrie. This idiot chose to bait Djokovic each time he was about to serve and, in the end, it seemed that the Serb was actually waiting for the shout as he bounced the ball. Djoko blew kisses in the guy's direction at the end of the match and some of the crowd booed.
If i had paid over £200 to watch a match and i ended up sat next to such an idiot, i think we'd both be ejected:-(
I doubt any of the outfit was purchased from the local supermarket. Made from very light materials??
