I could hardly believe my eyes when I saw Tui’s latest television advert. They have to be having a laugh! Nothing like taking the public for fools. Would you book with them?

The fiasco reminds me of the sign-off line to Hale & Pace's Yorkshire Airlines ad...'Departing Leeds International, returning Leeds International - why do you want to fly to anywhere else.

In defence of Tui, it might be that the advertising slots were booked and paid for long before the current travel fiasco involving Tui and others.

At some point in time, Tui would be aware of the cancellations – but it might be that the advertisement slots were booked and paid for prior to that moment in time.

Is the above concept so hard to comprehend?

stuck in a shop as I am.... if they have paid for it - they will play it.
BUT if should be possible to substitute a better ( older) ad.

they are I think unlikely to have a stock of old TUI ads which say - TUI are great but hold off for now....
