Does anyone think it is now time for the Queen to step down and let Charles take the reins? She has been at Balmoral for such a long time with no sign of her returning to London. I do know the oath she took at her Coronation but maybe enough is enough?

No.
No.
Not at all. Why does it matter where she is staying. Her and Philip are safely sheltered away from pandemic central, and their health is more important than their residence.
No. She vowed to honour her position for life, which I suppose is easy when you're young, but she's stuck by it and I admire her for that.
She's at Windsor. There has been talk that next year she will have Charles appointed Prince Regent to do her day-to-day work.
Hi Maggie, she took an oath to serve her country which she’s done admirably , she’s a strong minded lady who will reign till her death
Take the reigns, shurely. :-)
No
Plus she's been at Windsor in London since lockdown - how could you think she's been up with you at Balmoral?
No.

No.

Windsor is not in London, although not far away.
There is mention of her maybe going to Balmoral for the summer as usual

My apologies, no idea where Balmoral came from. I did know she was at Windsor having watched the Trooping of the Colour.
i'm not sure what work there is to do during a pandemic anyway - isn't most of her actual practical job cutting ribbons and shaking hands?
That must have all gone away for the time being as no-one wants to shake hands atm.
The other "head of state" stuff can be done anywhere can't it?
I thought the Queen had gone to Windsor to write a book.
and your'e in it I am told Gully :0)
no, i think she should continue on with the work she has been doing faithfully since her coronation.
Emmie I am sure she will , she's amazing for her age and I am pleased she's not out and about during this pandemic
She has been able to ride during lockdown which can only be a good thing. Good for body and soul.
No and No as others have said.
No, she promised to do it for life- and I think she will.
Step down ? Rather late.
Let someone else take over ???? Why ? Ideal chance to move on, let's not blow it.
