her father was on the news earlier and he said he wasn't happy that she was doing this, it was against his advice, but she has chosen a path and seemingly must run with it.

But, a victim of child abuse? Well, that’s an interesting idea certainly and I’m sure nothing at all to do with the impression that 16 is too young to think for oneself.
You do see that idea a lot here.
