Good morning Retro.What is 7a?
Good morning Danny.I was tempted to ask you the same.I have GLE? and can't as yet find a word to fit.Nearest was FLEE but that negates CG so am still on the case :-)
Could it be gley as in "gang oft a gley"?

Am having the same trouble as both of you - thought FLEE also
Gley 1. in chambers it is Scottish for squint
Gley 2. A type of clay
Will look in Oxford

Mally, clue is 'To disappear'
I went for flee and CF (Commémorative française) but not too confident.
The clue is "to disappear "(4) I have GLE?
