in one word NO.
No, absolutely not, I would tell him to rot in hell.
Do you stand by someone who has been convicted of any offence
if you think they havent done it ?

yup.

If you think they have.... you may
but it is much harder.

all the great perjury cases - Archer, Pryce, Huhne, Briscoe, Aitken,
the spouses said they had had enough, and only a few involved sex.

Valerie Profumo stood by her man didnt she /

Do the courts always get it right ?

oh dear dear, we wouldnt have a court of appeal
if the answer to that were Yes would we ?
No. I wouldn't stick by someone who had consensual sex with someone else let alone someone who committed a disgusting crime like rape.

She seems to be under the delusion that he didn't do it, despite the obvious evidence to state he did.

If she did genuinely believe he didn't that'd explain why she's standing beside him.

Would I in those circumstances? I don't think so, but then again luckily I haven't been in that situation, and hopefully never will!
She's unlikely to stay that deluded for the next 11 years.
love is blind seems an appropriate quote.

I'm not sure if my wife would stick by me if I nicked a biro from the bookies.

It beggars belief that a woman would stand by her man in these circumstances.
The trouble as I see it is that she has to decide between two delusions....the first being that he didn't do it and the second being that she has been married to an awful man for however many years it was.

If she chooses to go with the first one, then she has to stand by him.
If she chooses the second then she has to come to terms with the reality that her judgement has been entirely wrong.

It may be easier in some ways to stick by him.

If it were me.. couldn't stick by him if I thought he'd done it.

He will probably claim to be Gay if there is any possibility of that, fender62.

I think ladyalex's post is very astute.
Odd creatures women..........many have fallen in love with killers and rapists on "Death Row."

Mrs Sqad cannot make up her mind.........
That would be a big fat NO from me.
No. I don't think it's clear from the report whether she thinks he's been wrongly convicted or not.
its her poor judgement that allowed this piece of filth in the country in the first place. You'd think for the sake of the trail of victims he left behind she'd keep her trap shut.
Piece of sh*t. Should be deported after he has served his sentence.
