well done joe tonight, lovely lad, beautiful voice and im sure he will do well.

but did anyone notice when he was singing the deciding song there was like a slight blip with the sound whilst he was singing? like 'a cassette tape going a bit wonkey'
i thought it was our telly in the kitchen so i didnt take much notice of it ... but it happened again, when i watched it upstairs on a different telly, in the same spot when he had to sing the song again after hed won.

i know im wrong, but it just left me to wonder if their songs were pre recorded for tonight...? .. but they wouldnt have been miming tonight, surely not?... would they??

Interesting theory. I didnt hear the blip, but it wouldnt surprise me if they were miming Taking into consideration the millions of pounds of revenue at stake and the millions made from the phone votes, ITV just wouldnt risk the possibilty of one of the contestants losing their voice tonight, especially as they had to "sang" 3 songs each last night.

well it does make you wonder doesnt it bob?
i mean, nerves must be getting the better of them on a big night like the finale, and like you say, they couldnt risk having there song fluffed could they?
ive often wondered how do the singers get their composure back so quickly after being announced the winner and 'sing' so well again.... lol
Well whatever. I'm proud to be a "geordie" the neet.

no way were they mining tonight or any of the competitive songs ... although everyone of the group singalongs that opened the shows were pre-recorded.

i didnt think theyd be miming captain, it was just the blip thing that occurred twice that was all.
maybe it was just my ears playing up? lol
So am aa,chrissa1.
The more I think about it, the more I think they were ALL miming. Olly's last song was pitch perfect, which was a bit suspicious, as he had never sang a ballad so well before.
For years people thought that the contestants sang live in Stars in Their Eyes, but they were all miming!
I think adrenaline kept them singing well tonight. The fault was with the music track, not the vocals.
there was a blip in joes song and in ollys but it was the backing track messing up. No one was miming
really ? so how, when that grace jones wannabe grabbed the mic off him to rattle someting about him winning, did his voice carry over even though the mic was away from him, heh ?
It's all just to fill Simon Cowells coffers.
and itv's. they made nearly £100million from this series.
ankou that wasnt him singing that was all the backing singers
4getmenot you are correct i saw that and it was the backing singers
he LOOKS the real deal but i think ur on to something here. olly murs was better. just 4 the record.
