Which person in the world would answer to any of these names - Pere Noel (France), Julinesse (Denmark), Der Weihnachtsmann (Germany), La Befana (Italy), Babouschka (Russia) and Papai Noel (Brazil)?

Santa Claus
Baboushka is a woman!
They are all Father Christmas, apart from the Italian and Russian ones who are female!
Have a look at

where you'll find quite a few Fathers/Mothers/Grandmas Xmas for different countries.
Santa Claus is called Ded Moroz in Russia, which means Grandfather Frost. Looks the same, though.
Quite clearly NO person would respond to any of those names as they refer to a fiction character.
I'd answer to anything.
the danish one should be julenisse if spelt correctly but it's not santa but one of the little help type people santa for some reason has hanging round him. santa would be julemanden.
