The bit about human shields was amply demonstrated by the film of a Palestinian (he may or may not have been Hamas) waying a flag and with a very small boy (hos son?) also with a flag. He encourages the boy to approach some Israeli troops, daring them to shoot the child. It looks from the film as if he is genuinely hoping for a bit of propaganda. As the soldiers stand and stare, he then encourages the child to throw rocks at them.
