Cow's milk entered the human diet about 10,000 years ago. I'm sure the first people to drink it knew exactly what they were doing, and were doing exactly what we do today - consuming a nourishing, easily available foodstuff.

Yes but what were the egyptians thinking when they used a conconction of crocodile dung as a conraceptive pessary. Now that is weird!
