I wonder why people are trying to emulate a commonly known paradox.

Just because they are compulsive, doesn't mean that everything they say is a lie, so they might say this to warn you . . . . perhaps.

The buttered cat paradox is also well known:

* Cats always land on their feet.
* Buttered toast always lands buttered side down.

The paradox arises when one considers what would happen if one attached a piece of buttered toast (butter side up) to the back of a cat, then dropped the cat from a great height.

the cat is heavier than the toast so would have control, now if you had a piece of toast that was bigger and heavier than cat, that would be intresting . . . and funny to watch.
