My Passport will soon expire like myself, and I`m too ill to ever use it again so what should I do with it? Do I return it to Passport control or burn it?

You are supposed to return the passport of a deceased person to the passport office for cancellation.

But there's no real compulsion - do whatever you want with it.

Thanks dzug, I`ll burn it then and save a stamp.
You dont even have to do that.

I have kept my mother's as part of her [decd] papers.
Died `990, I imagine the passport office dont think she liveth still.

DONT BURN IT !!! if you were my mum/dad I would want to keep it as it was part of them, if you get what I mean, just for sentimental value x
