I will start us off, it's damp and cloudy in Birmingham, but the birds are singing.
Off to London in a bit. Will catch some zzzzz on the coach. Done the trip so often I only look out the window around Oxfordshire in case I can spot some red kites. Best bit of the trip

Stratord is a nice place to visit, enjoy your Shakespeare.
Ozzy, wish I could send you some rain, it would be so nice if we could share out the weather a bit more fairly.
Good morning all!
Grey and damp hereabouts.
Blackcurrant jam on toast for breakfast.
Take care

Breakfast seems ages ago. I try not to eat or drink too much if I am using a coach. Don't want to risk needing the on board facilities.
Cross yer legs Rowan;-)
Morning - a trip down the M40 - I've driven that so many times, it's almost indelibly inked on th brain.

Here, it's about giving the car some fresh lube and I need to find out who can do a quick lub change and a new filter......got a yellow warning yesterday about keeping the revs to with 4k...Otherwise quiet apart from my daughter having a wee issue, healthwise - all in part linked to her Lyme's....

Sometimes the coach goes m40 sometimes M1, M40 is nicer, but can take longer.
Ok folks. Have a lovely day, and it it's not lovely I wish you all the best in getting through it!
Have a great trip, hopefully you managed to find a decent hotel at a reasonable price.
Morning, birdies.
My cat got me up by stubbornly sitting on my hip, quite uncomfortably.
Graham Misty (him again!) down here in Zummerset

Morning all :) A day may come when I'll have a good lie-in, and not wake up far earlier than I plan to, but it is not this day. When my sleep lasts, and I wake up refreshed and ready for the long day ahead. But is it not this day! This day we yawn! By all that I hold dear on this good Earth, I bid you sleep, ABers of this site!

Claire - your post is all too grown-up and serious. :-)

I'm off to do some deep meditation under the duvet.
Good morning all. Rain stopped, but grey and windy and our gardener should be arriving for the day.

Rowan we are surrounded by Red kites here and I watch their activities daily from my bed. They often come by right past the bedroom window, so I get a close up. Beautiful birds.

Morning all, I am on my way back home, currently on the express to Heathrow.
The hotel last night was amazing and would definitely recommend Yotel to you all.
Hopefully normal service will resume tomorrow x
Have a good journey Red.
Gardener now not coming until next week. He's had to go to hospital for a scan.
Morning everyone. Nice to see different faces. I was wakened earlier than normal. My daughter messaged me to say she feels worse today...chills, aches, shivers with a bit of itchy nose. She started with this a few days ago...same time as me. When she went into the office for a team meeting last Wednesday, several were unwell.
Looking out the window, it looks grey and dull.
Thanks MissT
Sorry you and your daughter are not well pasta
Hello everyone.
I used to love Stratford upon Avon years ago but was shocked at the decline last time I went just before lockdown. Hope it recovers.
I had never been to Stratford until a few years back. It was far from what I expected. We left quickly. Mr T had warned me that apart from the bit of Shakespeare history it was scruffy and industrialised.
