Yes - my AEG fridge and my AEG freezer. They were expensive and are crap. AEG customer service is virtually non existent, never again will I buy any of their products.
Yes, local gym. About £100 a month and only ever used the swimming pool.
Somehow cooker! £1400 clock went wrong after 2 years, rubber round door fell off twice, and heat went!
a hillman avenger in the 70s, i won't bore you with the endless list of problems that car gave me ...
My first pint.
OMG - my very first microwave. I hadn't a clue just thought it would cook a meal in 5 minutes.

So I put raw potatoes, beans and sausages. What a disappointment LOL -potatoes were still raw, beans ice cold and you could have shot somebody dead with the sausages.

Now I have been through 4 or 5 more microwaves since then and would not be without one. Have a great one at the mo.
A Volvo car - absolute shocker - V40 1999 model.

I was sold a complete pup - the car as delivered bore no relationship at all to the one I test drove - different seats (horribly uncomfortable), sluggish engine and it rattled like a dustbin full of nuts and bolts.

A long fight with the garage got me out of the deal at minimal cost - but it was a chastening experience - I'll now never sign acceptance forms for any car without actually driving the one they're selling me - even if it is brand new.
AEL - my first car was the Avenger - loved it. So comfy.

While on this subject what would be the equivalent of the Avenger today. Sorry teacake for the diversion.
My last but one hair wash, cut and blow dry.......and the professional gardener I hired to care for my garden for my weeks away.....
I thought he was just slightly eccentric but it turns out he was bonkers.......
It was a toss up as to which looked worse....my hair or the lawn... :-(
//AEL - my first car was the Avenger - loved it. So comfy//
the two inches of water on my car's floor every time it rained prevented it from being comfy

One of those halogen oven bowl things - everytime I used it , it would trip all the electrics!
Blonde highlights that turned out like grey straw, a brand new Peugeot estate where the sunroof leaked from day one, A Bosch dishwasher that kept thinking it was overflowing and triggering the water switch off, a Whirlpool condensing tumbledryer that would tell me that clothes were wonderfully dry and ready to fold when in fact they were still wet.....but all that is over the course of 40 years so not too bad.
gness, your hairdresser probably wondered why you'd booked him to look after your garden for a week
Booking a Thomas Cook holiday. Never again.
Oh bums! That explains the highlights in the grass and the Yucca now sporting a perm.... :-(
Matsui video recorder that never recorded...
An awful lot of lottery tickets.

I saw the light eventually.
Visited Newcastle racecourse some years back and had just missed the shuttle bus from the railway station to the track. Instead of waiting half hour or so for the next shuttle, we jumped in a cab - only 5 miles as the crow flies from station to track. Trouble is, since my last visit, much of the original journey had disappeared thanks to a one way system. Cost us £13.50!!! To top it all, the price of a pint was much more than i've ever paid, we didn't back a winner between us and it rained all afternoon. Won't be going back there anytime soon.
Oh, and there was that Betamax video recorder.

I still think it was a better system than VHS.
Lots I guess. Got a Bosch dishwasher (surely it will be outstanding...)and it performs way worse than the cheap Creda one it replaced.
