'Potent' cannabis, Tora, not normal folks tokes.

Please return to P-ingYSL and await the next dog whistle.
well the Beeb certainly aint the BMJ
the usual comments not really suitable for AB

you see if you tie down free-tee into a cannabis appreciation chair and give him skunk - whether or not he goes mad ( madder), it doesnt really allow you to conclude the drug has that effect

you know if he becomes a Remainer as a result ( after ) skunk, some here would say - this is ..... an attack of sanity!

basically for those who can cope with long sentences: someone choosing to take skunk may be pre-psychotic

they may be unsuccessfuly seeking medication ....

and for those who CAN'T tolerate sentences of more than free words, "well done free-tee givvum hell!"

Hardly news - scaremongering at best.
skunk is pretty toxic

one old gent took it for terrible neck muscle spadgems ( see Dickens - Sairie Gamp ) and ended up giving it to one of his er employees
( well at least he didnt sell it on)
Does anyone else know what the hell this is all about?

P-ingYSL??? BMJ ??? free-tee??? And as for, "and for those who CAN'T tolerate sentences of more than free words, "well done free-tee givvum hell!"

I just can't tolerate these kind of posts.

P-ing goes with P-ong

YSL - Yves Saint Laurent

free-tee - special offer with your cornflakes

after that it all went a bit hazy..........

Some of it yes. The bits I don't, I just ignore. It's never been a problem.

To coin a phrase, it's not rocket science. Any substance that affects the brain can potentially damage it if used in sufficient strength, quantity, or length of time.
"Hardly news - scaremongering at best."

Eh? Skunk, not your normal run of the mill weed, is not good for you at all.
Weed is not good for the brain cells.

I used to work in a hostel and the amount of dippy young people there was astronomical. And I mean dope heads made dippy by dope.

It kills brain cells.
AOG, it's pretty easy really.

You probably know what PMSL means (it is something TTT often does - I guess he keeps a lot of changes of underpants and trousers to hand at all times) so replace mysels with yourself and you get PYSL.

BMJ is British Medical Journal - you can look that up for yourself, though to be fair, this study was reported in The Lancet.

free-tee is TTT (three T but with the three pronounced in mockney - which is something TTT uses regularly in his posts since Cockney is almost dead these days having been replaced by Estuary or Sahf (South) London)

AS for the OP, the report on the BBCwebsite doesn't make it very clear, but the actual risk of a first episode of psychosis in the area of south London they studied is a fraction of one percent if I've done the sums right. Perhaps I am misinterpreting TTT's phrasing, but it does convey, to me at least, a degree of pleasure that people who use cannabis regularly are ata greater rish of pshchotic episodes than those who don't use it. Odd really, since that has been known for a long time, and this report just puts some numbers to the level of risk.
and before the spelling police jump in

mysels = myself
ata = at a
rish = risk
"since Cockney is almost dead these days"

Really? Not in my arrrse. The trouble uses it all the time and so do many others I know.

It is not perhaps spoken in London so much but that's hardly surprising given the new residents.
I sometimes use the word ' folding ' on here

Just so i know - does that annoy anyone ?
13.01 - Thank you Ludwig, that CMU.

Firstly the president you have all been thinking about is F.W.De Klerk.Secondly,Peter Dr Verwoerd was murdered by Dimitrio Tsafendas an immigrant from Mozambique,although he was wounded in a failed assassination attempt by a white farmer.Thirdly I am astonished how flippantly everyone in here is viewing this scientific research into cannabis in all its forms.
