Not sure yet bez. I came to sis's a week ago for her to look after me but that soon went nipples up. She has been poorly for some time - just not herself . Anyway I have got her to seek medical attention at that aint easy - she hasn't seen a doctor in 18+ years! Needs a bone scan. Meanwhile I am doing all for her - haven't done so much housework in ages. Just providential that I am signed off sick at the moment.

^ and that aint easy
Sorry ttfn, didn't see it. Yes, op is on 20th which is our 25th wedding anniversary so we have made a very quick decision to have a few drinks with friends on the 17th, after a few of them asked us too. Went to see the surgeon today and have to say not a great day. I know they have to warn you but when he said 1 in 20 people don't survive the op it was a bit disheartening but then when he said if they open him up and the cancer has spread they would just close him up and that would be it I was devestated! I suppose they are just used to it but he was so matter of fact about it I was really upset.

Awwww Jan....I've got goosebumps. Fingers crossed for you xxx

What a rotten day for both of you Jan - I am sorry you had to go through that. I suppose it does become rather matter of fact for the doctors and surgeons but you would hope that they could tell you the risks with a bit more of a caring atitude, for want of a better expression. Bet that made it difficult for the two of you to discuss. My heart goes out to you again Jan ♥

I went 7 years between visiting the GP and it got me whipped straight into hospital, so I can hardly blame big sis can I?

Bez and Jan...I`m no good at comforting words..but you both know what songs I`d put on for you both xx
Thanks ummmm, bez and ttfn. Hubby's got to go up to London tomorrow cos his mum is in icu in St Thomas's Hospital and she is only carer for his uncle. It never rains but it pours! Thank god for a sense of humour and good friends but only so much more we can put up with. That's why I'm really glad you are all about tonight. Some nights I come on here and there's nobody about. xxx
