You just made me laugh Jan - a colleague of mine slipped on a soap in her shower a few years back and fell out of the bath landing on her elbow (that wasn't funny I agree). She had a really nasty compound fracture of her elbow - poor soul. The funny thing is that she was lying naked on her bathroom floor and her OH called 999 and got the First Response medic who was locally nicknames the local perv. First thing she heard when she came round was this chap's voice and she was worried she didn't have a stitch on!

Lol ttfn. When I first broke my ankle (4 years ago now) I can remember the ambulance turning up (yes I had been drinking, well one or two anyway...) and the guy radioing in to say "we're going to need back up". How very dare he. Just cos he had a tiny female partner and apparently it was against Health and Safety for them to let my husband help. Thank god for the morphine is all I say!
