No, Wooton should not have been sacked and the Mail may come to regret this as he was liked by their readers.

I think you might be confused.

The Mail had suspended Wootton this summer and was investigating him because of something else.

I watched the Fox/Wootton interview live as it happened. Fox was completely rude and out of order, Wootton's usual smile changed to more of an embarrassed grimace as if he wasn't sure what to say. He apologised soon after & shouldn't be tarred with the same brush as Fox.

Hmm I wondered what you were doing watching the notoriously far right GB news and reading the equally reprehensible Daily Mail. Are you a bit of a fan boy of his? Never watched him never read an article of his. Won't notice he has gone. I also avoid all the Fox crap as well.

Togo; Why not tune in and see? It is definitely to the right of centre (& nothing wrong in that imo) but they always have someone giving a liberal/left opinion on any discussions with a panel.
