I have actually seen one, with witnesses.
I believe there are alien species out there, the law of averages suggests that we cannot be the only intelligent (yes I know!) life form in the universe.

I think it highly unlikely that they will do as the science fiction films suggest, and appear in a meadow somewhere in rural America.

It's always a meadow isns't it - they never fetch up in downtown Harlem where refusal to move their saucer from by a fire hydrant would get them a quick smack upside the head from the local beat cop's nightstick.

No, I think far more likely is a species that has no physical form at all, and may communicate by scent, or telepathy, the possibilities are endless of course.

What we have to hope is that they are not like the aliens in the film Independence Day, who simply want to loot all the earth's resources, and then move on.

We shall see, but this latest kerfuffle will shoot the conspiracy theories even further into the public consciousness, so plenty more numpties to crop up on the Internet.

Still, it stops us thinking about even more dreadful possibilities, like Biden or Trump being the next president for example!
It seems to be a bit odd, that most, if not all, UFO sightings are over the USA. Why should the USA be targeted by these things?
Cant believe they cant find 3 wise men and a virgin. Same reason Jesus wasn't born in the USA.

Seriously though I stronly suspect there is some sort of lifeform But it may of course not be recognisable to us or even visible (to us).
I like The Monkees, does that count?
I think it's good that they want to get to the bottom of what some of these unexplained things are.

I doubt they're aliens.
HBD's
A UFO isn't necessarily an alien craft.

It's just a flying object that hasn't, yet, been identified.
bookbinder, ufo's usa erm, aliens love america don't ya know.
god blessed america after all, also plenty loons in america..who want to believe, erm lot's of childhood scifi film watching, startrek and all the 60's 70's scifi tv series movies etc it's ingrained, if they have crashed alien craft and beings, they would never admit, set off religious hysteria, god only created man ahem right, they probably do have alien wreckage and dead aliens.
"Are You A Believer" - well I saw her face....
I am certain the universe is teaming with other life and civilisations, I am equally certain that any form of interaction will never occur. The former because of the Drake equation and the latter because c is too slow and the spaces are too vast.
You are right TTT.

If intelligent life elsewhere was looking at the earth by some clever method, they would probably see dinosaurs.
Even if we knew there was life in the closest star system and that we could find a way of communicating at 100c we still would find it almost impossible to have any sort of communication and that is 100c at the closest. The oldest possible radio communication from us that may well have leaked into space is at most 130 years old. So that is about 5th of the way to Betelgeuse and that is a pretty close local star in the scheme of the galaxy.......see what I mean?
And I cudnt leave her if I tried !
The universe is so vast, it would be ridiculous to think that life doe
S not exist elsewhere. Also ridiculous to assume it's found us and having found
us decided to spend it's time buzzing around annoying our fighter pilots.
Yes, bang on Tomus.
Tomus, Cat among the pigeons .... I think it found us a very long time ago. Thousands of years ago.
Perlease naomi! So have they been living among us ever since then?
Not in my opinion.
