Roadman, I believe there is a basic toilet on board. Not sufficient for several days though!
the horrors i am not religious but i pray for them if they are found they will be traumatised
Sorry, I haven't read up on this, but is this the first time this trip has been carried out?
Barsel, no. It's first was in 2021.

//The company behind the expedition, OceanGate, made its first trip to the Titanic wreck in 2021 and then again in 2022. The company went back this summer as part of plans to “continue to return annually to further document the Titanic and its rate of decay,” //

Yes, a little toilet behind a curtain
Roadman, how can you possibly be looking forward to a Netflix documentary? That is ghoulish
The sub may have been run on the cheap, i read that part of the controls were an Xbox console.
More concerning is they refused an independent safety check
What's wrong with using an Xbox controller? All you need is a transmitter which can send "Turn left", "Turn Right" etc and the Xbox is a well tried device for doing that; why waste time and money making a different one?
The controller doesn't do much as the sub can't navigate itself.
Thanks Naomi.
i dont mean it like that barry i mean that it is going to go the way of a captain phillips type hollywood style picture

this is one of the reasons i would never go in a space ship on these orbit tourist visits they are scary as well

Pretty much game over now. They join the watery graves of those 100 odd years ago.

Perhaps some ghouls will go and look at their sub in the future, although I hope not.
'During an interview with LBC, former rear admiral Chris Parry questioned the logic behind the decision to enter the submersible before the expedition.

He said: “Why on earth you would go in a dodgy piece of technology where you actually have to sign away any right to sue the company for emotional damage, injury and death is beyond me.

“It is fundamentally dangerous, there was no back-up plan,...'
YMB, have they given up searching?
No. Search is still going on. And will go on beyond air expiration time.
Update at 6 pm.
Thanks Sharon. Makes my blood run cold.
Adventurers climb mountains because they're there. Remember in the Vendee Globe when Pete Goss turned back to rescue Raphael Dinelli. Here's a reminder:
