What an absolute dork. Unless of course he was having a flashback to being debfiefed by Labedev Snr(again) in a debauched weekend, alone in an Italian castle?

debate at its best.... not

//debate at its best.... not//

What did you want to debate? How gaffe-prone the former PM is and how it reflects badly that he has wealthy Russian friends whom he’s given a peerage despite concerns raised the the Security Services?
The peer who's father is a former KGB chief on the Canadian sanction list of oligarchs?

As I pointed out, it’s an easy mistake for Boris to make in light of all that’s gone before, is it not?
Your obsession with his sex life
I dont get it.... hur hur hur ( Rowan and Martin's Laugh in 1968)

yes - HIS obsession with his sex life innit - he seven kids by seven women I wdnt doubt
Pathetic. Man makes verbal slip shock. You know it's a non-story.
Italian castle caper - I am reminded about The Betrayal of Yalta (*) where Stalin had his own wodka whilst the rest of the negotiators got possed. During Stalin's absence, an army officer impishly tasted it - - and it was water !

Army has already noticed the men they had to dinner were different to the ones they negotiated with...

(*) wot Yalta den - - do you remember the fun we had with Yalta and wot and Togo suggesting I had mis-spelt Malta. o god, AB !

10.02 It's probably world news by now... hope so.
Why do you hope so, Gulliver?

I guess the News Editor at Sky decided differently?
But I did warn the Borstriches weeks ago that the Johnson story(well, aka infamy) is far from over.
His previous, gaffe-strewn history in tandem with the skeletons from his time as Mayor, Foreign Secretary and disgraced PM mean that there is plenty more yet to become public knowledge but especially after the standards committee has collated all their evidence too.
Yer man’s far from off the hook.
//Boris Makes Freudian Slip//
should this be in news?
Fatticus...my comment immediately followed gullivers 'You're Moronic' contribution to the debate. Go figure.
You may be right at 1021 and its your thread so you can raise whatever points you want from your Boris file...even if there unconnected to the gaff in your OP

Absolutely…..and being the person he is you can guarantee the press will run with a lot of it too.
As I’ve said previously, plenty of legs left in the Johnson story yet, won’t be long before the next chapter.
//being the person he is you can guarantee the press will run with a lot of it too//

It follows then that if he wasn’t the person he is, they wouldn’t. That just about sums up a witch hunt. I’m not sure that’s what you wanted to say, fatticusinch, but that’s what you’ve said. Well done. :o)
It was past the yard arm, so Boris had most probably been on the sauce over lunch. Most of Johnson’s errors. involve over imbibing.
The other day the New York Times had to apologise for accidentally calling Zelensky the president of Russia.

Carelessness or foresight ... :-)
The Lebedev (if that is who you actually mean) thing is a load of nonsense. Certainly embarrassing, but you are reading far too much into it. Your motive is simply to make cheap politcal points.
Fine. But that is what it is.
I would imagine that the Ukrainians found Putin very inspirational. Inspired first to see him dangling from a rope, convicted as a war criminal, most likely.

/It follows then that if he wasn’t the person he is, they wouldn’t/

Lol, but that is exactly it! Sadly(for you) you decide to ignore the divisive person he is, don’t you?
The serial adulterer and proven liar who’s previous relationships/marriages have failed because in each one he got somebody else pregnant.
Sacked twice for lying, embroiled in a scandal over trying to get a journalist beaten up, an affair with an American who benefitted to the tune of over £100,000 from the British taxpayer, dodgy Russian friends whom he’s made peers, parties in lockdown, fined, lying about knowledge of a predatory sex pest and promoting him, unlawfully proroguing Parliament, watering down the ministerial code, ethics advisers and anti corruption cabinet members resigning because of his behaviour in office, toadying for money to pay for lavish decorating projects…..this was not some yuppie glamour boy or feckless aristocratic oaf sitting on a family fortune, it’s the former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.

You really don’t get it do you? His character, behaviours and propensity for living and working outside the accepted norms have always been what he’s about, he’s the newsworthy investigative journalists gift that keeps on giving.
To incessantly deny/acknowledge it makes you look unbelievably foolish, yet you continue on a daily basis. As you said earlier……pathetic.
